Desert Fare
The desert never ceases to amaze. In one of the harshest environments on earth, some of the most delicate flowers come to life and bloom with all their heart. A dichotomy of spring in the desert is one of balance. On the one hand delicate flowers are served up for the onlooker, and at the same time the palette of colors still appear harsh, hot and intense, all indicative of life in the desert. This display sheds some light onto the nature of the world itself, a nature of opposites and pairs; night and day, hot and cold, male and female. The one cannot exist without the other and both are needed to maintain a balance in creation.
