{"id":1883,"date":"2014-06-29T22:33:41","date_gmt":"2014-06-30T05:33:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.organiclightphoto.com\/blog\/?p=1883"},"modified":"2014-06-29T22:33:41","modified_gmt":"2014-06-30T05:33:41","slug":"the-joy-of-fasting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.organiclightphoto.com\/blog\/index.php\/2014\/06\/the-joy-of-fasting\/","title":{"rendered":"The Joy of Fasting"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Years ago I heard a fabulous Hadith, a tradition from the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessing s of God upon him.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ebd890;\"><em>Abu Hurairah (May God be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of God upon him) said: \u201cEvery deed of the son of Adam will be multiplied, a Hasanah (a good deed) will be multiplied to ten its like, up to seven hundred times. Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, said: \u2018Except fasting. It is for Me and I shall reward for it. He gives up his desires and his food for my sake.\u2019 The fasting person will have two moments of joy: Joy when he breaks his fast, and joy when he meets his Lord.
