Quiet

Tranquility descends while standing on a knoll overlooking the Bolinas Ridge just before sunset on a fine summer day. The receding ridgelines come aglow as the sun dips near the horizon revealing the sinuous shape of the hills covered in dried grass. A wind blows in off the coast below bringing fog into the valleys and sending the grasses a sway. And although this knoll attracts many onlookers, the entire place is filled with only quiet. Its as if for a few golden moments we come to realize and cherish the immense wealth of becoming a part of the sublimity of nature.
