Reflect

Pine and spruce trees reflected in Siesta Lake at sunrise. The reflection is so clear that had it not been for the grasses and lily pads in the shadows we could mistake it for the trees themselves. And yet it is through reflection that we can recognize what we are. What we see in the world is nothing other than a reflection of what we are and what we harbor in our hearts. For if we see what is beautiful, then we know we posses and display beauty. And if we see that which is ugly then we are ugly or have the capacity for ugliness, which is dormant and is just waiting for something to ignite it. Thus when we look out into the world and see what we don't like, realize it is a reflection of ourselves and we need to change it in us before we can change it in the world.
