Gold Drops

Like little drops of gold floating in the canopy of the dogwoods and blanketing the forest floor, the yellowing leaves define autumn. Quiet and peaceful autumn is a time to take things slowly and reflect. Like the wonderment of why the small dogwoods is bowing while its brothers are standing upright. Or why a single leaf would still be hanging on to its branch when all of its sisters have already dropped to the ground. It all seems so random and for the observer it is. However for the One who has ordained all things, it is occurring just as it is supposed to. And that is simply magnificent.
