Emerald Pool

Envious of the water out at sea, this seawater trapped in a coastal tide pool has turned green. We have all seen the 'green eyed monster' from time to time and used the term 'green with envy', but when have we seen it occur in nature? And although the water in this pool looks pristine with its emerald green color, it is actually putrefied seawater that is murky and foul smelling. That is the true nature of envy itself. A state that robs the soul of its true light and the blessings within the object of envy itself. Only when we can be content with what we have can we begin to cleanse ourselves and allow our inner light to shine without limits.
