Camel Man

Appearing out of nowhere, this man of the desert in Mauritania surprised us as much as we probably surprised him. Riding on a ship of the desert, as the camel is known, he has everything he needs lashed to it, from his shoes to his large burlap wrapped canteen. Surviving in the desert is difficult but he seems to have figured out how to do this very well. Resourcefulness is the key in the desert; something that we in the technologically advanced world have forgotten how to do. With every gadget imaginable available to "make life easier" at our disposal we have forgotten how to do things for ourselves, how to utilize our God-given talents to make our way in the world, let alone in the desert. Talk about shooting ones self in the foot!
