Spring Bloom
California Poppies of the Antelope Valley in full bloom on a bright and sunny spring day. Their colors are so intense and vivid that they border on the unreal. However, their reality, just like everything else in the Creation, is starkly evident by the missing blossom in the foreground, which has already withered away and died. The Creation, including us, is in a state of evanescence. Each and every thing in Creation moves closer to its inevitable end with every breath, action, or flutter in the wind. Yet despite the soon ending spring bloom, these poppies make use of it to bring future blooms to life. And like that, we should make use of our own spring bloom, our strength, health, and wealth, to make the future better for those who follow us. For in the blink of an eye, our bloom as well as ourselves will be gone.
