The Moon, Venus, and Me

For years I have been chasing the appearance of the new moon each month. For years I have tried to bring others along with me to experience this moment which occurs only twelve times each year. And for years I have most often just found myself alone in the silence looking out over the horizon for that tiny sliver of a moon. Although on this night the moon and I were greeted with the visit of Venus, there near the horizon line, and in the silence it felt like all the heavens were singing the glory of the Creator. I urge you all to experience this special moment.
