Dry and inhospitable the desert is not a place to take lightly. Those that survive in the desert are rugged, tough and hardy. It is also very dry and very hot for most of the year. The desert can easily claim ones life, as it has numerous time in the past. But for those who can survive there, they can survive anywhere. And the seclusion provided by the desert is next to none. To enter in takes courage, and upon exiting one is filled with wisdom.
